As part of Fortum, the Secure Operations & Data Solutions unit requires a Senior Data Engineer to steer data-related innovations and improvements.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Contribute at a senior level to the design, deployment, and maintenance of data platforms.
• Implement strategies for data acquisition and development of new business insights.
• Monitor metrics and partner with Data and Analytics teams for system and process improvements.
• Design and support key datasets providing structured access to business insights.

This role requires you to have:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Over 5 years of relevant IT and business/industry experience.
• Leadership in Data Engineering work.
• Knowledge of Data platforms like Azure and AWS, including tools such as DataBricks, Data Lake, and DataFactory.
• Database expertise with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with SW version control tools.
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and Rest APIs.
