The Data Scientist, Hardware position in Oulu will drive research, collaborating with various teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance predictive maintenance capabilities.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze component data to detect anomalies and optimize hardware performance.
- Develop predictive maintenance strategies to prevent hardware failures.
- Identify manufacturing bottlenecks to improve process efficiency.
- Enhance warranty analytics for improved customer experience and issue resolution.
- Develop ring monitoring dashboards and track performance metrics with the Hardware Product Analytics team.
- Establish data strategies for manufacturing monitoring, including quality control techniques.
- Assist with supply forecasting and collaborate with finance on demand forecasting.
- Support hardware testing by developing tools and analyses.
- Enhance battery status detection models to improve customer experience and operations.

This role requires you to have:
- 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and developing ETL processes.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance and anomaly detection.
- Strong statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making skills.
