In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain routines for fisheries data management and reporting for member countries.
• Enhance data access and usability for scientists and staff.
• Collaborate on improving data management systems with stakeholders.
• Monitor and improve data quality and rectify discrepancies.
• Propose innovations and improvements in data management processes.
• Conduct statistical analyses to support scientific frameworks.
• Facilitate capacity building and skills development in data management.

This role requires you to have:

• At least 7 years experience in data management and database systems.
• Proficiency with large-scale relational database management systems and SQL.
• Experience in data integration and management using Git and CI/CD.
• Analytical skills to support data-related queries.
