Lead Data Engineer

Predict4Health is poised to revolutionize healthcare data management by seeking a Lead Data Engineer who will lead the charge in creating an industry-leading data infrastructure. This role exists to ensure effective data management strategies and drive interoperability between hospital systems and Predict4Health’s platform. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team working directly under the Head of Software.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data architecture for healthcare applications
• Establish robust ETL processes and data pipelines
• Implement FHIR-based healthcare data exchange solutions
• Architect bridging solutions between hospital systems and the healthcare platform
• Oversee a cross-functional data team
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to team members
• Develop and enforce data quality standards and governance
• Create and implement business metric dashboards
• Translate data patterns into actionable insights
• Collaborate on aligning data strategy with business objectives

This role requires you to have:

• 9+ years in data engineering roles
• Expertise in SQL and database management
• Designing enterprise-level data solutions
• Leading small technical teams
• Experience with FHIR and healthcare data systems

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with Unix-Based systems
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
• Understanding of cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP)

Preference for candidates located in the EU, preferably France, with working rights in the EU.
