SoSafe is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic data team, focused on building foundational data products that drive growth and innovation within the cybersecurity industry. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to building and maintaining data infrastructure, offering critical insights for product and business growth in a fast-growing cyber security startup.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support business growth.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver data-driven solutions for product enhancement and customer experience.
• Oversee data infrastructure, implementing best practices and ensuring reliability and performance.
• Create scalable, secure data delivery systems to enhance data accessibility.
• Ensure data pipeline reliability with robust monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD.
• Stay informed on data engineering advancements to improve data capabilities.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and decision-making.
• Align stakeholder expectations and communicate technical concepts effectively.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years of experience with building and maintaining data pipelines on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in data engineering tools such as DMS, Airflow, dbt.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices including Terraform and CI/CD.
• Data warehouse management skills.
