Asset Reliability-Data Scientist

Ørsted is looking for a Data Scientist to join their diverse engineering team focused on asset reliability. This role involves optimizing the performance and maintenance of offshore assets by utilizing data from various sources to predict potential faults and improve operations. The team works collaboratively across the company to drive data-driven and proactive maintenance strategies.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate sensor, SCADA, SAP, and commercial data to identify asset performance issues.
• Translate technical findings into actionable models and reports to rectify asset faults.
• Conduct statistical analysis to develop and update Key Performance Indicators.
• Develop advanced diagnostic algorithms for accurate fault diagnosis and prognosis.
• Enhance technical performance by utilizing centrally developed tools and systems.
• Set requirements for central development teams to support business needs.

This role requires you to have:

• Statistical mindset with experience in performance measurement and analysis.
• MSc or BSc in engineering, data science, physics, mathematics, or similar.
• Expertise in critical analysis, problem-solving, and handling extensive data.
• Proficient in Python and tools like Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, and PowerBI.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about wind turbine operations.
• Experience in data science and data engineering.
