Age UK is enhancing its Data Team with a Senior Data Analyst position, aiming to spearhead the development and implementation of rigorous statistical models and data analysis processes. The role is pivotal in forecasting trends and facilitating data-driven decision-making, thereby supporting the organization's objectives, particularly in fundraising, commercial products, and national services.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and predictive analytics.
- Analyze large datasets for insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with various teams across Age UK to deliver actionable insights.
- Employ sophisticated modeling techniques such as propensity modeling and logistic regression.
- Maintain data quality and continuously innovate analytical approaches.
- Communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

This role requires you to have:
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Extensive experience with statistical or database software such as SPSS, SAS, T-SQL, or R.
- Strong numerical and statistical background with the ability to analyze large datasets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in promoting culture change and managing multiple projects.
- Experience with MS Power BI and data platforms like Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- A degree in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics or Statistics.
