In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Execute 2nd Line Risk oversight for technology and data risks, covering risk profiles, identification, controls, testing, governance, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Technology and Data teams to assess and enhance Aldermore’s risk profile.
• Recommend improvements to technology and data risk processes, controls, and testing.
• Provide insights for governance reporting and contribute to executive and board-level risk reports.
• Oversee technology and data risks in change programs.
• Lead and mentor team members, support risk reviews, and act in place of Head of Risk when necessary.

• Proven experience in technology and data risk management, internal audit, governance, and control testing within financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for unstructured challenges.
• Understanding of governance practices, control environment design, and control testing.
• Broad risk knowledge, including related risk disciplines like cyber and change.
