In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Generate insights and models from multi-omics datasets.
• Build pipelines for the analysis of raw targeted and untargeted datasets.
• Enhance algorithms for relevant use cases at Altos Labs.
• Adopt emergent analytical methodologies to ensure impactful approaches.
• Collaborate with Lab scientists to identify opportunities for data mining.
• Embed analyses and visualizations in automated reports.

This role requires you to have:

• PhD in quantitative science such as Biology or Computer Science.
• Experience in large scale data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Proven scientific project completion with publications.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or related scientific programming languages.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience working in an AWS compute environment.
• Integrating knowledge from databases like KEGG into data pipelines.
