ANGLE plc is a leader in the liquid biopsy field, offering a technology platform that captures rare circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from blood. Their pioneering Parsortix® system is FDA cleared for use in metastatic breast cancer, enabling the harvesting and comprehensive analysis of CTCs. The Guildford-based team is expanding services to include molecular profiling using advanced techniques to drive improvements in clinical and health economic outcomes.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Interpret clinical data using statistical methods and provide ongoing reports.
  • Maintain expertise in relevant bioinformatics tools and software.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies.
  • Lead or contribute to the statistical analysis of clinical studies.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of statistical outputs and activities.
  • Serve as the lead statistician for clinical studies and programs.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of statistical output from team members.
  • Provide consultative support on study design and statistical methods.
  • Represent biostatistics in audits and regulatory activities.
  • Query, cleanse, and prepare data to build high-quality data models.
  • Interpret data to uncover business insights and support decision-making.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using visualisation tools.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a scientific field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, particularly within Oncology and Medical Devices.
  • Thorough understanding of statistical programming related to clinical trials.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate information with accuracy.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong data instincts.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality data.
  • Stay informed about technology trends in data and analytics.
