Aromatic is actively seeking a Power BI Analyst who can contribute to the widespread use of Power Platform technologies like Power Automate and PowerApps. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to align data analytics with strategic goals, driving improved decision-making and business performance. The team is focused on integrating innovative solutions and enhancing operational efficiency.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collaborate with decision-makers to offer insights on pricing, operations, sustainability, and guest experiences.
- Develop and inform client reporting packs that support organizational objectives.
- Spot opportunities for technological advancements and oversee their implementation.
- Advocate data-driven approaches in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects.
- Create visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards via Power BI.
- Connect and transform data from multiple sources for Business Intelligence purposes.
- Translate data into engaging visuals and analytical reports.
- Implement row-level security and understand application security models in Power BI.
- Develop data models based on business needs and manage resources efficiently.
- Draft methodology and documentation for products.
- Create shared datasets using best practices for reporting.
- Apply data transformations using M scripting and manage Dataflows.
- Produce interactive and accessible reports that leverage platform visual capabilities.
- Administer report and dataset management, publishing, and scheduling within Power BI Service.

This role requires you to have:
- Two or more years using Power BI
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Experience with Sage 50, Payroll, and general finance accounting
- A background in analytics, business intelligence, and data presentation
- Knowledge of SQL data warehouse and Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of accounting systems
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Powershell, C#, Python, and R
