In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support, document, develop, and enhance Phinsys applications using Tandem Data Warehouse, Inform, Rapport, Comply, and Postbox.
• Conduct changes and configuration within Phinsys applications.
• Compile package releases, preparing release notes and run books for distribution.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications in use.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to sustain application health and performance.
• Conduct testing and ensure quality assurance for financial applications.
• Work in collaboration with the Finance Product Owner to align support activities with product goals.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services.
• Experience with data warehouse design, SQL, ETL processes, stored procedures, performance tuning, UI design, and testing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for managing development and deployment.
• Strong analytical thinking for data-driven decision-making.
• Technical acumen for effective communication with technical teams.
• Attention to detail for ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Commitment to continuous learning regarding BI tools and data trends.

You would benefit from having:

• Understanding of insurance, GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and Lloyd's market.
• Knowledge of S2000.
• Experience with supporting and developing Phinsys products.
• Exposure to DBA responsibilities.
