AXA UK is seeking a Data Engineer to enhance their Data Platform and Engineering team. This role is pivotal in developing a robust platform that supports machine learning and analytics, driving efficiency and better customer outcomes. The position offers a chance to develop skills in data orchestration, governance, and CI/CD.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and deploy data systems and pipelines.
- Ingest data from various sources, both structured and unstructured.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security and Data Governance standards.
- Collaborate with analysts and scientists to prepare data for advanced models.
- Work closely with the business on infrastructure and deployment.
- Enhance data platforms with advanced orchestration and quality checks.
- Develop reusable code using Software Engineering best practices.
- Build cloud-based data assets for commercial decision-making.
