FX Data and Analytics Analyst (KDB)

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. is seeking an FX Data and Analytics Analyst for their Foreign Exchange front office team in London. The role is geared towards individuals with mid-level KDB+ expertise and a passion for financial markets. This position is pivotal in executing data initiatives that drive business growth and provide critical insights into Foreign Exchange products.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support and maintain the FX Business's existing ticker plant, real-time, and historical databases.
• Extend the KDB data plant to meet analytics and business intelligence needs.
• Collaborate with trading, e-trading, relationship management, product, and risk teams on data science projects.
• Develop tools for model backtesting and simulation.
• Handle internal and external FX data requests, optimizing software tools for automation.
• Participate in client and vendor meetings, assisting in solution formulation.
• Ensure FX data integrity and enhance the mix of referential data across the enterprise.
• Stay informed on FX industry trends and data technologies.

This role requires you to have:

• 4 year STEM degree from an accredited institution
• 2+ years of KDB+ development experience
• Understanding of KDB+ architecture
• Solid Math and Statistics
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
