Citi, a prominent global bank, is recruiting a Data Scientist for their Client Division's Global Data Insights team. Located in London, this role demands a critical thinker eager to tackle diverse analytical challenges and interact with external clients on custom projects. The position promises opportunities to engage closely with leading institutional and corporate clients.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with relationship managers and corporate bankers to prioritize projects and explore new business opportunities.
• Act as a visible data science expert, interpreting briefs and converting them into actionable projects.
• Investigate new project ideas, evaluate solutions, and provide management with estimates and feasibility studies.
• Manage all phases of the data analysis cycle, from data collection to visualization.
• Contribute analytics and content for client publications and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Oversee derived data assets, ensuring projects progress from data curation to analysis and production.
• Establish strong stakeholder relationships, providing updates and iterative consultations.
• Gather, validate, and analyze large datasets, understanding data significance and troubleshooting any issues.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in data science tools like ARIMA, regime-based models, and multivariate time series models.
• Experience with databases and big data platforms.
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Programming experience with Java, Python, or R.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL, and BI tools.
