PLC and Data Automation Engineer

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Determine communication routes for data transfer between PLCs and MES/SCADA systems.
• Implement PLC program and hardware changes with plant electrical teams.
• Validate data collected from PLCs and servers.
• Conduct plant surveys and design proposals for MES production order control installations.
• Interface with instrumentation for machine and process control.
• Design and implement PLC networks and program PLCs like Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Gather user feedback to propose system improvements and collaborate with the digital team for system enhancements.
• Coordinate project activities and maintain communication with stakeholders and team members.

This role requires you to have:

• Degree in electrical and control engineering or related field.
• Experience with automation/MES/SCADA for factory machines.
• Design and commissioning expertise for control and electrical systems.
• Understanding of PLC logics, HMI designs, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of networking, data flow, and database storage (SQL, Mongo DB).
• Experience in project management and effective stakeholder interaction.
