FinCrime Data Analyst

Curve, a company dedicated to simplifying finances, is looking for a FinCrime Data Analyst. This role involves identifying and mitigating financial crime risks by analysing large datasets and developing predictive models. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping Curve provide insights and protection against fraud.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Looker Dashboards for the Financial Crime teams
• Make backend changes to the data warehouse to enhance Financial Crime data modelling
• Improve monitoring of control gaps and related losses
• Develop models to predict financial crime risks
• Maintain rules within transaction monitoring systems

This role requires you to have:

• Proven ability to use SQL in data analytics or engineering
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Experience presenting technical solutions in a non-technical manner
• 1+ years experience in a Financial Institution
