Cygnet is searching for a Data Engineer who thrives on tackling new challenges and experimenting with advanced technologies. The role involves developing a data infrastructure aligned with business objectives and enhancing their Snowflake environment. This position is integral to maintaining accurate and timely data dissemination across the business landscape.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data pipelines for use with reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
• Ingest, store, process, and analyze large data sets.
• Create and maintain a high-performance data warehouse.
• Translate complex needs into detailed technical designs.
• Investigate and recommend efficient data solutions.
• Maintain security and data privacy.
• Define and build scalable ETL packages using SQL development.
• Collaborate with data teams to enhance analytics pipelines.
• Establish data governance policies and support data versioning.
• Document data architecture and procedures.
• Support the implementation of the data strategy and advise on improved data engineering strategies.
