The role of Lead Data Scientist involves collaborating with strategic client accounts to implement AI solutions, drawing on substantial data science experience.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead strategic customer accounts throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Act as a trusted AI advisor, enabling complex problem-solving with DataRobot.
• Design end-to-end AI solutions integrated with existing technologies.
• Represent DataRobot in pre-sales processes, leading demonstrations and customer evaluations.
• Lead implementation post-sales, advising on and executing AI use cases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Field Engineering for client success.
• Develop and share expertise in specific domains, contributing to the company’s strategy.
• Represent DataRobot at conferences and through marketing content.
• Provide customer feedback to influence product and engineering directions.

This role requires you to have:

• 10+ years of experience in data science roles.
• 10+ years in customer-facing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field.
• Hands-on experience in designing AI solutions.
• Familiarity with consultative sales and analytics marketplaces.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Proven project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data manipulation tools.
• Fluency in Python or R.
