This role focuses on transforming critical processing systems within an increasingly data-driven environment. The Surveillance and Regulatory Technology department plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the bank's compliance and risk management.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines for reliable data flow.
- Preparing and optimizing raw data for analysis and storage.
- Administering data warehouse tasks such as monitoring and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborating with data scientists and business teams for data requirement understanding.
- Maintaining documentation for data workflows and processes.
- Enhancing technical skills in data engineering tools and cloud platforms.

This role requires you to have:
- Experience with Python 3
- Practical knowledge of SQL
- In-depth experience with Apache Airflow and other cloud tools
- Experience with Apache Beam, BigQuery, and cloud infrastructure
You would benefit from having:
- Experience in graph databases and Hadoop Ecosystem
- Experience with Hive/Impala and GCP tools
- Participation in Data Science forums and competitions like Kaggle
