The Data Engineer role is critical for structuring and leveraging data across the organization.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the data warehouse infrastructure with systems like Snowflake and Kafka.
• Optimize and expand the platform for new data sources.
• Ensure data performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams for data modeling suited for business intelligence.
• Facilitate AI integration by ensuring data readiness.
• Serve as a link between engineering, data science, and customer success teams.
• Ensure product managers have data access for informed decision-making.
• Support a self-service data model across teams.
• Ensure compliance with UK and US data laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Implement data governance best practices.

This role requires you to have:

• 4+ years experience in data engineering roles
• Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Kafka
• Cross-functional team collaboration skills
• Problem-solving and autonomous decision-making abilities

You would benefit from having:

• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Looker, Tableau
• Understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
