In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Connect to commercial vehicle fleet telemetry through API tools to source granular operational data.
• Perform translation and load operations for data ingestion into a modern data stack.
• Develop autonomous solutions to improve SaaS data handling capabilities.
• Enhance performance of ETL and data modeling tasks using cloud IaaS and distributed computing.
• Regularly ship new code to align with AGILE and SCRUM project management cycles.
• Improve data quality by cleansing anomalies in vehicle telematics data.
• Research and prototype new methods and technologies to elevate solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Problem-solving skills in a creative and methodological manner.
• Background in STEM or computer science, or significant relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of data management, storage, and manipulation.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with geographic and time-series datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting languages and containerization with Docker.
