The successful candidate will join the STMJ Data & Analytics team, collaborating with stakeholders to support Elsevier’s mission through insightful data analysis. This role is essential for ensuring consistent and impactful analytics across Elsevier's extensive journal portfolio.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze journal configuration and identify opportunities for harmonization.
- Partner with the Journal Configuration Governance team to prioritize changes for over 2,500 journals.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the impact of configuration changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish business definitions.
- Facilitate workshops to gather and validate input, driving consensus.
- Document and maintain a centralized repository of business definitions.

This role requires you to have:
- Proven experience in analytical or technical roles such as business analysis or data analytics.
- Ability to understand complex data structures and apply advanced preparation techniques.
- Experience in SQL and/or Python coding.
