In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and implement cutting-edge AI models like transformers and VAEs for genomic data analysis.
• Evaluate and refine model architectures, optimizing learning strategies and metrics.
• Propose innovative ideas for AI architecture development tailored to biological applications.
• Curate and preprocess diverse genomic datasets from resources like the Human Cell Atlas.
• Collaborate with discovery teams and biologists to align models with biological insights.

This role requires you to have:

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Proven AI innovation in publications such as ICLR, NeurIPS, or similar.
• Expertise in AI/ML model training and inference using GPUs.
• Experience with spatial and single-cell data in biological contexts.
• Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of AWS.
