This role is integral to developing transformative medicines and engages closely with internal teams to translate AI insights into biological applications.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design advanced AI models using technologies like transformers and VAEs for data integration.
• Evaluate and improve AI model architectures with innovative learning strategies.
• Contribute ideas to enhance AI frameworks for biology-focused applications.
• Process and manage datasets from various sources, including the Human Cell Atlas.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for biologically relevant model output.

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Proven track record in AI innovation with publications.
• Expertise in training AI models on GPUs using transformers and VAEs.
• Experience in modelling spatial and single-cell data for biological insights.
• Proficient in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and AWS infrastructure.
• Proven ability to apply AI to solve complex biological challenges.
