HMRC's Fraud Investigation Service is hiring an Economic Crime Performance & Data Analyst. This role focuses on tackling economic crime and recovering proceeds from tax fraud, aiding the department's broad functions as a tax authority, law enforcement agency, and anti-money laundering supervisor. The position involves supporting the team's decision-making process through detailed data analysis and performance reporting.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conducting data analysis to identify trends and provide simplified explanations
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Identifying and proposing solutions in response to performance assumptions
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards
  • Assisting senior leaders in identifying KPIs and measuring performance
  • Providing performance data for high-level reports and briefings
  • Ensuring cohesive understanding of performance requirements
  • Centralizing approach to recording and managing casework
  • Assisting the EC Performance Lead
