Human Rights Watch, a leading international human rights organization, conducts thorough investigations and high-impact advocacy to influence global policy. The Data and Digital Analyst will be integral to the Fundraising Data & Analysis team, aiding the strategic use of digital tools and data analysis to enhance fundraising outcomes across multiple global locations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding for digital tools and users.
  • Oversee user permissions and conduct product usage reviews.
  • Process invoices for digital tools in coordination with IT and Finance.
  • Develop training programs in collaboration with the Training & Support team.
  • Contribute to departmental improvement projects for data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity for accurate reporting and forecasts.
  • Generate exports and manage data mapping within digital systems.
  • Monitor donation syncs and perform data reconciliation and cleanup.
  • Develop reports to provide actionable insights and inform strategies.
  • Support fundraising teams in data analysis and reporting.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years' experience in fundraising/business data analysis.
  • Fluency in SQL or similar query languages.
  • Experience with e-CRM systems such as Engaging Networks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

You would benefit from having:

  • Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising in a global context.
  • Proficiency with email applications like Mailchimp and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
