In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Ensure the development of a near real-time data platform integrating AWS, Databricks, and JDE systems.
  • Develop ETL processes for centralized data integration.
  • Optimize complex queries and data pipelines for performance.
  • Manage data platform to ensure availability and scalability.
  • Implement data security best practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data needs.
  • Create interactive reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for data models and BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency.

This role requires you to have:

  • Expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark.
  • Experience in data lakehouse and Delta Lake optimization.
  • ETL/ELT process experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Experience with ERP/Enterprise system integrations.
  • Over 5 years in data engineering or BI development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

You would benefit from having:

  • Power BI dashboard development experience.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
  • Experience with streaming technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security.
  • Cloud-based lakehouse implementation experience.
