They seek a Junior Data Engineer who will be integral to the IT department, supporting the company's ambitious objectives through rigorous data management. Collaborating with a skilled data engineering team, this role involves working closely with product teams to ensure effective data processing and management.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to scope and estimate new data processing requirements.
• Develop data pipelines using SQL and SSIS for data ingestion and transformation.
• Ensure data deliveries align with the product team's needs.
• Utilize T-SQL knowledge for debugging and optimizing SQL Server processes.
• Adapt to tight schedules and dynamic data source changes.
• Gain familiarity with cloud data pipeline tools, preferably AWS.
• Maintain a focus on data quality and reliable service delivery.
• Differentiate between structured and unstructured data processing methods.
• Receive mentorship from an experienced data engineer.

This role requires you to have:

• SQL Server (T-SQL, Query Optimisation, Indexing, Partitioning)
• SSIS
• Analytical & problem solving skills
• Python
