In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Promote and embed data experimentation across ITV business domains.
  • Implement new methodologies and processes within business domains.
  • Analyze audience journeys to provide insight on viewer engagement.
  • Develop analytical solutions for marketing campaigns, content strategies, and viewer segmentations.
  • Deliver accurate analysis on viewer engagement across different platforms.
  • Conduct proof of concept analysis for new metrics and segmentation methodologies.
  • Develop dashboarding solutions for business stakeholders to enable self-service analytics.
  • Evaluate performance of content, release strategies, and marketing experiments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward.
  • Communicate analytics and insights to stakeholders effectively.

This role requires you to have:

  • Data analytics industry experience
  • Ability to create insightful analysis and dashboards
  • Comfortable with visualizing and presenting analysis in various formats
  • Experience using SQL to analyze large datasets
  • Understanding of analytical techniques and statistical concepts

You would benefit from having:

  • TV Ratings, VOD content analysis, BARB or Advantedge experience
  • Experience with attribution methodologies and tools like Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Databricks
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker Studio
  • Strong storytelling with data skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Passion for TV programmes and the media landscape
