ESG Data Analyst

The ESG Data Analyst will join their distinguished team, working under the ESG Strategy & Operations pillar to provide innovative data-driven investment insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Generate investment insights from ESG data using statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Evaluate and integrate new ESG datasets.
• Collaborate with investment desks to integrate ESG data into strategies.
• Document and translate business needs into data requirements.
• Support the automation of the ESG data lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Data Owners, Stewards, and Technology teams for consistent data distribution.
• Understand data vendor methodologies and support investment desk analysis.
• Assist in analyzing vendors to address data gaps.

This role requires you to have:

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in running SQL, Python, and/or R queries over large datasets.

You would benefit from having:

• Studying towards IMC or CFA.
• Experience with third-party ESG data providers like MSCI.
• Data visualization skills with Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding ESG data integration in investment portfolios.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing, such as Snowflake.
