In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance AWS Data Engineering solutions using Glue/PySpark, Redshift, and Airflow.
• Engage in Dimensional Modelling, ETL/ELT, and optimizing cloud storage, compute, and query operations.
• Create innovative software solutions and troubleshoot technical issues with unconventional strategies.
• Produce secure, high-quality production code and conduct code reviews.
• Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues for improved operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions for architectural designs with vendors and internal teams.
• Drive awareness and adoption of new technologies through community practice leadership.
• Promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect in the team.

This role requires you to have:

• Hands-on system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• In-depth understanding of financial services industry IT systems.
• Experience in cloud-native technologies.
