LexisNexis, a global leader in information and analytics, is looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join their Analytics and Insights team. This team focuses on developing robust insights about Elsevier's technology estate and operational performance. Joining this team means collaborating with operations, infrastructure colleagues, and senior management to enhance data governance initiatives across technology infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, strategic data insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Build and automate ETL pipelines using DBT and Python, while leveraging AWS services like Lambda, S3, and Athena for data integration
  • Design and implement dimensional data models for analytical reporting
  • Create Tableau dashboards and data visualizations to provide clear insights to operations teams and stakeholders
  • Analyze large operational datasets focusing on data integrity
  • Lead analytics projects, delivering insights and analytical solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish reporting requirements
  • Manage analytics lifecycle from discovery to end-user support
  • Mentor and coach team members in ETL and data modeling practices

This role requires you to have:

  • Significant experience in data analytics or business intelligence
  • Proficiency in DBT, SQL, and Snowflake or similar relational databases
  • Experience using Python for data analysis and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Athena
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets, ensuring data quality
  • Proficiency with Git
  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
