Elsevier, a global leader in information and analytics, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst I. The position is part of the Portfolio and Agile Delivery team within the Data Engineering group, which is dedicated to supporting Elsevier’s mission by maintaining a comprehensive data platform. The role supports portfolio planning and prioritization, offering clear insights across the organization.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop, test, maintain, and support reports and data management artifacts.
• Ensure consistency and quality in data visualization and reporting.
• Support the administration of portfolio and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Directors.
• Develop dashboards to identify productivity blockers and inefficiencies using data from Jira and other sources.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role.
• Proven experience with Tableau, EazyBI, or Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, time management, and project management skills.
• Experience working with software engineering teams.
• Familiarity with agile delivery, Jira, and writing requirements specifications and user stories.
