In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead the data engineering team to develop tailored data solutions.
- Establish data architecture aligned with LCCC’s strategy with a focus on data security.
- Oversee operational support systems for reliability and performance.
- Promote continuous delivery practices and cloud adoption.
- Design and optimize data pipelines on Azure, ensuring quality and security.
- Manage project timelines and proactively mitigate risks.
- Enhance and evaluate the Azure data platform for performance scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop a data governance framework ensuring data compliance.
- Review and approve technical designs as part of the design authority process.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all data engineering processes.
- Implement best practices for documentation version control.
