Mars Snacking is embarked on a transformative journey to enhance its business size by 2030 through leveraging digital and data advancements across global business units. The Chief Data Office (CDO) was recently formed to implement a comprehensive enterprise data strategy leveraging AI and ensuring robust data governance. The Sales Data Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting this vision by collaborating with various business leads to manage and optimize enterprise data effectively.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Capture and document data requirements for business initiatives in collaboration with teams.
• Ensure data readiness for MVP pilots and other market initiatives.
• Develop templates and frameworks for complex data design and business process metadata.
• Identify and prioritize data quality issues for enhancement.
• Oversee the delivery of data during technology/platform roll-outs for specific markets.
• Coordinate adherence to data governance policies within the Sales function.
• Collaborate with data governance teams for the alignment of functional data requirements.
• Analyze and optimize data for AI/Analytics deployment in One Demand Planning.
• Work closely with data architects and engineers to define and test data models.
• Establish collaborations across functional and geographic teams to drive data initiatives.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analytics, or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience in data domains like Customer, Vendor, Sales/Order, Forecasting.
• Familiarity with Kinaxis, Nielsen data, Salesforce, TPM.
• Recent experience as a data analyst in a CPG organization.
• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.
