Northumbrian Water Limited is offering a full-time position as a Data & Reporting Analyst at their Durham location. This role is crucial in supporting decision-making and performance management by delivering comprehensive data analysis and effective reporting solutions. The position supports the Customer Directorate's need for timely insights, driving continuous improvement in reporting capabilities.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead the provision of scheduled and ad-hoc reports for performance management and decision support.
- Develop and maintain visual dashboards displaying key performance indicators.
- Prepare standard performance reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Provide analytical support for projects and ad-hoc information requests.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, design, deliver, and maintain reports and dashboards.

This role requires you to have:
- Advanced competency in SQL query writing
- Experience with handling large data sets and turning them into meaningful insights
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel for data discovery and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction
