Photon is looking for a Sr Data Engineer to enhance their data engineering capabilities. This role is integral to their team, focusing on leveraging AWS and Oracle cloud solutions. The team aims to ensure efficient data management and architecture to meet business objectives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Maintain awareness of modelling techniques for various analysis situations.
• Select appropriate modelling techniques for objectives and scenarios.
• Collaborate with clients and developers to optimize database use.
• Lead quality assurance of corporate and project data structures.
• Ensure consistency in data modelling and adherence to corporate standards.
• Assist in investigating application data requirements in a project setting.
• Design, code, test, and document complex programs.
• Analyze requirements for alignment with business objectives.

This role requires you to have:

• Expertise in data engineering, including data modelling and ETL development.
• Understanding of RDBMS, NoSQL, and data stream solutions.
• Strong proficiency with AWS platforms and design patterns.
• Solid experience with Python, SQL, and databases like Redshift or Postgres.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
