Data Analyst - Data Insight (London)

RBC is looking for a dedicated Data Analyst to support the London Data Insight team in enhancing business efficiency through effective use of RBC BlueBay's tools. This role involves interaction with multiple business areas, offering exposure to fixed-income asset management and various technologies including Python and Tableau.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality Portfolio Insight (PI) dashboards using best practices within the established governance framework.
• Assist users with complex PI inquiries.
• Optimize dashboard productivity and prioritize business demands, aiming for dashboard and business logic reuse.
• Conduct training to enhance company-wide self-servicing capabilities.
• Collaborate with PI developers to enhance user experience.
• Automate processes and review Python development as part of the EUSE process.
• Write database queries, including metadata and historical data requests.
• Establish and enforce best practices for Tableau, acting as the business owner for the Tableau environment.
• Deliver high-quality Tableau dashboards following governance frameworks.
• Support users with complex Tableau inquiries.
• Align work with RBC Enterprise Data Policy (EDP) for good data governance.

• Fixed Income business knowledge, particularly Fund and Benchmark position reporting.
• Data Reporting and Data Visualisation (Tableau).
• SQL querying (SQL Server).
• Python scripting.
