Rightmove is looking for a Junior Analytics Engineer who will become a vital part of their innovative data team. This role focuses on constructing and refining data pipelines and analytics architecture, crucial for ensuring data is accurate and readily available. Collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and engineers, this role supports the team’s objectives of delivering consistent data solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Create and sustain data models using dbt to transform warehouse data.
• Craft efficient SQL queries for data modeling.
• Work with analysts and engineers to define data needs and technical solutions.
• Design models for business analysis and reporting.
• Optimize data query performance via data marts and models.
• Oversee data quality and anomaly detection.
• Develop data validation methods to ensure data integrity.
• Assist teams with Looker model and explore knowledge for self-service analytics.
• Manage access to the Looker BI platform.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts for insight sharing and decision support.

This role requires you to have:

• SQL proficiency with practical experience.
• Passion for data and eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with Looker or similar BI tools.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
