The Data Engineer will play a crucial role within the Data department, ensuring the organisation can access the insights needed to reduce drowning rates. This role involves working with a talented team to implement cutting-edge cloud data solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation and daily operations of a new Data Lakehouse using advanced technology.
• Utilize and integrate Data Integration, Master Data, and Data Analytics technologies.
• Ensure best practices in platform capabilities for system integration and master data set management.
• Collaborate with Analysis teams to support data provision and analysis outcomes.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with Data or Analytics platforms, including Data Management and Integration.
• Proficiency with complex ETL routines and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Competence in T-SQL, Databricks, and Data Lakehouse management.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture and diverse data formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Proficiency in data modelling and data wrangling.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with APIs.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle in agile environments.
• Familiarity with source control and task management tools, especially GitHub.
