RNLI, dedicated to saving lives at sea, operates 24/7 with a team of committed lifesavers. The Junior Data Insight Analyst will become part of an established Data Analytics team, active in supporting RNLI until March 2027. The team empowers strategic and tactical decision-making by analyzing data crucial for the allocation of resources and safety measures.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collect and process data for analysis from internal and external sources.
- Monitor incoming requests and perform basic analysis to meet customer requirements.
- Develop reports and visual tools to deliver key insights supporting business processes.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify data needs and requirements.
- Assist in the creation of analytical outputs and reports.
- Expand analytical focuses across the organization.
- Ensure secure storage and accessibility of analytical outputs.
- Learn Python, SQL, and ArcGIS from senior team members.
- Maintain comprehensive data documentation.

- Experience in data analysis with large datasets.

- Proficiency in IT and foundational knowledge in SQL and Python.
