In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Shape the data landscape by defining, building, and documenting data automation processes.
• Maintain existing code bases and develop new modules for Data Engineering platform.
• Ingest and manage data from multiple sources for financial crime analysis.
• Drive best practices in data engineering and collaborate within an Agile team.
• Take technical accountability for data projects, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing.
• Investigate new trends in data approaches to suggest opportunities for the bank.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize platform efficiency.
• Establish and uphold standards for data integration in financial services.
• Develop and maintain data models using serialization techniques like Avro and Parquet.
• Define testing requirements, identifying issues and reporting results.
