Sightsavers is on the lookout for a Data Analyst skilled in International Development to join their DART team. As the organization embarks on a digital transformation in data analytics, this role is crucial for supporting colleagues and producing technical organizational reports. The candidate will contribute significantly to the thematic areas of eye health, education, social inclusion, and NTDs.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and produce quarterly and annual dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and DHIS2.
• Conduct data analysis on various Sightsavers projects.
• Enhance data reporting systems in country offices.
• Work with country offices to map and improve project data flows.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience in statistics, information systems, or a related field with a strong analytical component.
• Track record in data management and statistical techniques application in health, education, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in data quality and data cleaning practices.
• Experience in capacity building and supporting staff with data collection deadlines.
• Understanding of international development issues with a commitment to equality for disabled individuals.
• Practical experience of using DHIS2.
• Experience in digital transformation and new software implementation.
• Ability in data visualization using Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience using Power Query for ETL processes.
• Fluency in English for report writing and communication.

• Master’s degree in relevant fields like international development or statistics.
• Proficiency in French and/or Portuguese.
