This role as a Data Engineer is pivotal in leveraging existing investments and embracing new technologies to maximize impact and value. The position involves collaboration with the Integration team and stakeholders to develop and maintain a central data platform that caters to the evolving needs of the organization.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and implement SNG's central data platform for better data reporting and analytics.
• Model data to create valuable and usable datasets for business insights.
• Automate data loading into the corporate data store for analytics support.
• Ensure compliance with SNG's data architecture and collaborate with the Data Architect.
• Conduct data reconciliation and quality checks, providing clarity back to systems of record.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with Cloud-based Data platforms, particularly MS Azure.
• Knowledge of Data Lakehouse approaches, including Kimball/Star schema.
• Understanding of essential Data Quality practices.
• Proficiency in data storage solutions like Data Lake and MS SQL 2012+.
• Coding skills in T-SQL and basic Python knowledge.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory and MS Synapse.

You would benefit from having:

• Development experience using Visual Studio and Microsoft ADO methodologies.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Purview, and Azure data tools.
• Working knowledge of APIs.
