This role involves creating data products for analysts and assisting in the development of the company's data strategy. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain core data assets, including master extracts and modelling datasets.
- Integrate internal data, like model scores, into core data and manage system data flows.
- Build and sustain pipelines for sourcing and integrating external data, such as from APIs.
- Identify and resolve data issues to ensure the accuracy of final products.
- Maintain documentation for data processes, including flow charts and data dictionaries.
- Implement technological innovations within the team.
- Provide technical leadership for automation processes.
- Contribute to both daily operations and project work as needed.

This role requires you to have:
- Proficiency in coding with SQL or Python.
- Experience in the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of data engineering processes.
- Experience in data-heavy roles such as management information or programming.
- Bachelor's degree in fields like Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Familiarity with various data platforms and models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand technical requirements.
