Southampton City Council offers an exciting opportunity for a Technical Data Analyst within the Data, Intelligence and Insight team. The role focuses on supporting performance reporting transformations across Adult Social Care and Children & Learning. The successful candidate will contribute to the council's new Client Case Management System, impacting future reporting infrastructure in Southampton.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Support performance reporting and transformation efforts
• Submit statutory returns and formal data submissions
• Create, amend, and validate complex data using SQL, Power BI, and Excel
• Work collaboratively with Adult Social Care or Children’s Analysts

This role requires you to have:

• Experience in technical performance management
• Excellent numerical, research, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL (T-SQL), Power BI, and Advanced Excel

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with Git and/or GitHub
• Familiarity with statutory returns in Social Care

The role requires a basic DBS check. Candidates who have lived outside the UK in the last 5 years must provide a Certificate of Good Conduct at their own expense.
