Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies are searching for a Junior Data Engineer to join their Data Insight Team. This role is essential in influencing decision-making and improving operational effectiveness by building and managing data pipelines and warehouses. The team combines traditional policing with innovative data technologies to tackle modern challenges.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop complex data pipelines using Python.
• Design and maintain a large data warehouse using SQL.
• Collaborate with police officers, analysts, and senior leaders to offer data-driven solutions.
• Support Associate and Senior Data Engineers in enhancing analytical platforms.

This role requires you to have:

• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical data problems.
• Experience in creating data processes for efficiency.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Python, and GIT.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
