Senior Data Analyst

Suffolk County Council is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months. The successful candidate will be part of the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System's Intelligence Function, collaborating on projects that transform data into actionable insights aimed at improving healthcare outcomes and addressing health inequalities in the region.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead and manage analytical projects providing deep insights into healthcare service needs and demands.
• Evaluate health inequalities and offer strategies for addressing future challenges in demand and capacity.
• Utilize statistical and data visualization tools such as R, Python, and SQL for developing intelligence products.
• Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to support data-driven decision-making for senior leaders.
• Contribute expertise in population health management and potentially health economics.
