The Bannatyne Group is looking for a Data Analyst to play a critical role in turning data into actionable insights that shape the company's business strategies. This role is entirely office-based in Darlington, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact within a leading organisation in the health and wellness industry.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collect, organise, and manage large datasets from various sources including CRM systems, financial records, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data audits and cleansing.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and correlations to inform business decisions.
  • Create and deliver clear, visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and SQL.
  • Automate data processes and reporting through custom scripts.
  • Manage the publishing of reports and updating of dashboards while setting up new data schedules.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new analytical tools, and technologies.
  • Propose and implement improvements to data collection, storage, and analysis processes.

This role requires you to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages like SQL and Excel.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to analyse complex datasets to identify key insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for proposing data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for high-quality work delivery.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach with a desire for continuous improvement.

You would benefit from having:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Equivalent qualification such as Data Analyst L4.
  • Experience within the health, fitness, or hospitality industry.
